Patient Directed Care, also called PDC, was started by a practicing medical doctor in late 2000 to help individuals obtain access to affordable health care and other health related services, including discounted lab work.  PDC assists its members by providing patient advocacy by qualified medical staff to guide patients through the present health care maze.  PDC delivers several health care products to its members, which include: (1) medical discount programs for physician, hospital, and other medical services, (2) generously discounted laboratory services nationwide, and (3) a Prescription Savings Plan.

PDC members have access to Limited Medical Insurance plans from Affinity Group Underwriters. PDC's partnering insurance agents also provide groups access to High Deductible Health Plans and Health Savings Accounts.
